Teaching Biography Pepa Molina
Pepa Molina is an internationally respected flamenco educator with over 30 years of teaching experience across Spain and Australia.
She has held teaching positions at some of Spain’s most prestigious flamenco institutions, including the ROMI Gypsy Women’s Association and Carmen de las Cuevas in Granada (1994–1995), Casa Patas Conservatorium in Madrid (2001–2003), and the Antonio Canales Municipal Flamenco Dance School in Madrid (2003–2005).

From 2003 to 2019, Pepa was a core member of the teaching faculty at the legendary Centro de Danza Española y Flamenco Amor de Dios in Madrid, widely regarded as one of the most important flamenco training centres in the world.
She has delivered masterclasses at leading institutions including Centro de Danza Canal (Teatros del Canal), APDE, ACADE, and AEDA (Associations of Spanish Dance and Flamenco Teachers) in Madrid. Pepa has also served for over 12 years on the official examination board for ACADE and AEDA, contributing to the assessment of Spain’s formal Spanish dance and flamenco training pathways. In 2007, she developed the full flamenco syllabus for AEDA, further cementing her influence in dance education. Since 2017, Pepa Molina has been the Official Ambassador for the Escuela de Flamenco de Andalucía (EFA) for Australasia and Asia. In this role, she upholds internationally recognised standards in flamenco education. The EFA, headquartered in Spain and present in 26 countries, is the leading accredited institution for professional flamenco and Spanish dance training worldwide.
In recognition of her contribution to the field, Pepa was named Honorary Patron of Aerodance Academy in Segovia, Spain in 2014.
In 2018, Pepa Molina was nominated for the Australian Dance Awards in the category of Services to Dance Education, recognising her significant contribution to the sector. She was acknowledged “for her work in bringing a real sense of Flamenco to Australia, making the art form accessible to Australians with her passionate and deep knowledge of the form.” In Australia, Pepa has taught masterclasses and workshops at major institutions including Sydney Dance Company, NIDA, The McDonald College of Performing Arts, North Shore Dance Academy, and Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.
Over the past 30+ years, Pepa Molina has delivered specialised flamenco workshops and masterclasses across Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia, teaching in 26 countries worldwide. Her international work spans cities including London and Birmingham; Jerez, Cádiz, Madrid, Granada, Segovia and Barcelona; Milan and Sicily; Dresden, Graz and Prague; Paris and Toulouse; Zurich; León, São Paulo, Porto Alegre and Lima; Jerusalem and Tel Aviv; Abu Dhabi and Dubai; Taipei and Danshui; Manila; Osaka; Shanghai, Hong Kong and Beijing; as well as Christchurch, and across Australia including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Wollongong and Byron Bay.
